Meetings are strictly for parents and caregivers of children (any age) with mental health struggles and facilitated by parents just like you. Most who attend are ready to share and participate in the conversation; however, it’s ok to just listen.

Confidentiality is required of all who attend. Not every family is in the same place along their journey, and some may not be ready for their stories to be told outside of meetings.

REAL TALK group meeting topics are always related in some way to the experiences a parent and family faces when a child is struggling with mental health. Each meeting topic tends to focus on a smaller aspect of the bigger picture, such as educational options, parent self-care or emotional support. Listening to the stories of others and sharing your own, will help you feel less alone, and learn how to support and celebrate your child.
